CRM 3.0 almost working
Posted by Gary D on January 16th, 2008

I have installed SQL2005 and CRM on my CRMBOX. I am trying to change the CRM
website to use ASP.NET 1.1 as per the CRM installation documentation, but
ASP 1.1 does not appear as an option in the website properties. (ASP.NET Tab
of the website).

Any ideas why ?

I downloaded and tried installing .NET 1.1 framework but the system said it
was already installed .

Any advice much appreciated.

Perhaps it has been "Prohibited" in the IIS Web Service Extensions folder in
the IIS Manager tool. It should be in the lis with a little green tick and
a status of "Allowed" if it is enabled properly.

Hi Regan,
ASP.NET 1.1 does not appear in the web extentions, only ASP.Net 2.x.xxx and
Microsoft CRM have the green ticks.

When SQL2005 reporting was set up I could browse to
http://crmbox/reportserver OK. After CRM was installed the same URL gave me
an error which indicated that the Site is using ASP 2.) instead of ASP 1.1.
Any help much appreciated.
