Dear all,

I tried Installing CRM 4.0 professional edition in my test lab on windows
server 2003 sp2, i keep receiving the following errors after folloming the
implementation guide step by step:

1.error: verify domain user account SPN for microsoft dynamics CRM ASP.NET
application pool account.( I use domain user account with domain admins
right for the service account)

2. Error: Index was outside the bound of the array

3: SQL error: an error accured while esterblishing connection to the server,
when connecting to SQL server 2005. This failure may be caused by the fact
that under default settings, sql server does not allow remote connection
(Provider: Named pipes:Provider) { i enable all the TCP connections in the
SQL configuration manager, and specify the IP address on the machine that is
running SQL Server.

4. SQL Report Error: Setup fail to validate specific reporting service
report server http://compname/reportservername. The request failled with
HTTP status 404. Not found.

I want to run all the services in one server bcos im deploying for test
purposes.

I will highly appreciate any help as to how i canm solve these errors cos i
try all possible steps for resolution to no avail.

The error "index outside the bound of the array" is caused when the entered
value , during setup, of the domain account doesn't match the existing
application pool account(within IIS... CRMappPool).
Example "
Setup
Application Pool Account
Administrator@VirtualWorld.com != VirtualWorld\Administrator

To correct the problem, just make sure the domain account name is type exact
like the Application Pool account.

Setup
Application Pool Account
VirtualWorld\Administrator
VirtualWorld\Administrator
