CRM 4.0 upgrade: Business Management Error/User ID isn't valid

I'm getting error number 80041D1F, The user Id is invalid, on my CRM 4.0
system (upgraded from CRM 3.0) system. The Http status is 401.2. I will paste
the full stack at the bottom of the message. Here is a list of the various
fixes that I have tried:
* Confirmed the IIS Directory Security is set to Integrated Authentication
* Add the Computer to the correct PrivUserGroup in AD
* Confirmed Reporting Services is running correctly
* Confirmed the AD groups are set up as a user of the database
* uninstalled and reinstalled
* repaired the installation
* sacrificed 6 chickens, two keyboards and an intern (he won't be missed).
* Created a ticket with MS support

This isn't my production server (THANK GOD) but I would like to have
something to show for the last week of work before the holiday weekend.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
