CRM phone time counter

Folks

I saw in the CRM demonstration virtual workstation image that there was a
counter when opening a phone activity - it simply had a start and stop button
- great for my helpdesk but my installation does not have that feature so I
assume that it is an add on!??!?!

Anyone have an idea where I can get this?

You''ll need to create such a timer as this is not a public add-on.

For helpdesk systems there are even better solutions available. Addons which
do recognize who is calling and binding the recorded phone call to the
contact for instance. You'd need ip telephony then ofcourse.
