Argh! I'm searching and searching for a solution to this
wretched problem.
Scenario: I have a fresh installation of MS CRM 1.0.
Everything seems to be working, but for the Reports,
which give the error above when a CRM user tries to
branch into a specific Report area.
In the Event (Application) Log I get:
Source: Microsoft CRM
Category: None
EventID: 2
Error: Unable to access crystal; check to see if you have
enough licenses: Unable to log into crystal; check to see
if you have enough licenses.
In the Event (System) Log I get:
Source: DCOM
Category: None
EventID: 10002
Access denied attempting to launch a DCOM Server. The
server is:{ ... }
The user is username/domain, SID= ...
I have tried the fixes listed here and those referenced
in the TechKnowledge base, to no avail. So, I have
regsvr32'd the EnterpriseFramework.dll. I have
disabled/enabled the Crystal services. I have
started/stopped the Crystal services. Nothing helps.
Can someone *PLEASE* offer any assistance with this
problem? I very much appreciate it.
