- Crystal Reports Password Tool - unable to change password
- Posted by Amando Resendez on July 23rd, 2005
Hi everybody:
I'm installing CRM 1.2 on Windows 2003 SP 1. All the software (SQL Server
2000 SP 4, IIS, CRM 1.2, Exchange 2003 SP 1) is running in the same server.
When running the "Crystal Reports Password Tool" to change the password as
the guide says, I'm getting the error: "Unable to change password. Error
returned is: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden."
¿Any hint?
Kind Regards

Make sure you have the right port number and name for your CRM server, then
try restarting your Crystal services from the Crystal Management Console.
Also, as a side note, I believe the only supported way to have CRM on the
same server with SQL, IIS, and Exchange is with Small Business Server.

Thanks, for your answer Matt. It seems all what it need it, was to restart
the Crystal services as you said.
Thanks for your observation about Small Business Server, I'll keep it in mind.
Cheers!
