Good day again,
One problem solved.. Now, another...
Installing Data Migration Manager on the CRM Server. Sql 2005 Server (Ent
Edition). CRM 4.0 (Ent Edition).
Answer all the questions..
Microsoft Windows Operating System - Check
Microsoft Dynamics CRM Data Migration Manager Configuration User Input - Check
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - ERROR
- Failed to determine the SQL data root path for CRM instance.
Help suggests two things
1) Make sure SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) is started - it is.
2) Delete the Migration Manager Database from SQL - There isn't one.
Any ideas? Please let me know what, if any other, information would be
helpful.

Hi Ben,
I am having the same error, are you running the CRM database on a 64 bit
system also? I have not found any resolution to the error but I have
attempted to install DMM on both 32bit and 64 bit systems connecting to a
64bit SQL 2005 Server and have the same error.
