- Exporting Custom Data
- Posted by jimmyrichford@gmail.com on November 30th, 2006
This has probably been asked before but I couldn't find anything
anywhere on it.
I am using CRM 3.0 and trying to export Addresses and phone numbers
from all contacts into Excel. When I click on Accounts, it shows all
my active accounts but doesn't show the information I need to export
(IE it shows City and Zip but not the address and I need the address).
If I double click on a contact, then it opens that specific contact and
displays all of their infomation.
Basically what I need is a customized view that shows me all the
information that I ask it to and then export that into Excel.
What is the best way to go about this?

Do an advanced find of all accounts belonging to you, + any other
criteria you would want. Then click on Edit Columns on the top and
select what fields you want exported. Execute that find and then export
to excel.
You could save that view if you plan on constantly exporting to excel
and those columns will be displayed everytime.
