Has the service pack and Mobile connectivity update been released? There was
talk at the last Microsoft seminar I attended back in June that there would
be some patches and feature updates for CRM released this summer. Have they
been released yet?

yes they have been released. Go to support.microsoft.com then downloads and
seach on microsoft crm. the mobile addon has been released as well as
updates for Windows XP SP2
