- How to build a view where approvals can be seen
- Posted by A.K.B. on January 31st, 2008
Hi,
I want to controll which data (firm & contacts) are visible
for Team A.
Further I would like to build a workflow to make approvals to Teams,
when a firm or contact does meet special requirements.
How can I get this done? (just with CRM 4.0 - no SDK)
Best regards for any hint

First, in answer to your first question, you could separate the users for
Team A into a different BU and then assign them a cloned security role that
limits their access to their BU. Or, conversely, but the firms & contacts
that you don't want them to have access to in a different BU.
In answer to your second question, you could create a workflow that triggers
on Create of a firm / contact and verifies whether special conditions match.
You can then do a certain actions based on the fact that it is a special firm
/ contact.
