How To Import Accounts
Posted by TexasDavid on September 16th, 2005

We are migrating from another CRM system and I am not sure how to
import accounts. We have about 2000 Accounts and nearly double that in
contacts. Setting up 2000 accounts manually is a bit time consuming.

You can load dta using the Data Mogration framework (DMF), 3rd party tools
like Scribe or by coding your owd SDK calls.

you can import them as leads.
try "tools -> import -> leads".
specify the fields you want to transfer and convert the leads to accounts.

hope this can help you.
