How to refer to a field in a form in a customization aspx page?

How to refer to a field in a form in a customization aspx page?: Posted by Rojer on December 23rd, 2003; Hi,
I have placed a toolbar button on order products page which will invoke
a
new form. It will look for some extra information in an external database
for the currently selected customer.
How will I be able to pass the customer ObjectID from this form to the
new form. The PassParams=1 will only pass the objectID of the orderproduct.
Infact, i am not even getting that.

please help.
