IE7 - compatible?

Now that IE7 is officially released, is CRM 3 compatible with it?

Thanks,

I have been using it to test and it seems to work really well. If you
also have Outlook Client it will have simular drop down menu (including
Mail Merge, Print for Customer) if you use those.

I am using IE7 w/ CRM via Outlook (mostly) and since my install I have
been experiencing a couple issues; however, I am not quite certain if
they are related. Once I access CRM modules through Outlook and then
click on regular folders (e.g. inbox) my Outlook freezes and I have to
re-boot the program. This occurs a several times a day. I have ran a
detect and fix thinking it was only Outlook related and it did not fix
the solution. Then I thought perhaps I just have too much mail. I
used to archive emails every year but I have done it frequently for
2006 since I have been sending more and more mail. This week I placed
about half of my sent messages (approx. 100K) in another archive
directory but the problem still exists. I also noticed I was receiving
an IE7 error... something along the lines "C+++ fail" or "abort" when I
close a tab or the program... My profession is not IT so I do not
understand the error message. I tried uninstalling IE7 and
reinstalling it since I had the beta version, but I am still receiving
the error approx. once a day. My plan is to uninstall 7 and reinstall
6 (if I can find a copy somewhere) and see what happens in order to
narrow down and troubleshoot. There are so many external factors
involved. Hopefully it's just coincidental because I like 7 and
obviously it works for everyone else.

By "reinstalling" do you mean the final version of IE7?

I finally found this page:

http://www.microsoft.com/dynamics/cr...ssysadmin.mspx

"Can I use Internet Explorer 7 with Microsoft CRM 3.0?

For the Microsoft CRM Web application to work with Microsoft Internet
Explorer 7, you must turn off application mode for the Microsoft CRM Web
site. If you don't, the browser window closes when a user launches a
Microsoft Office application from the Microsoft CRM Web site."

(it goes on to explain how).

I haven't had any major problems with CRM and ie7 but when I try to use wss
webparts I run into an issue where the data does not get displayed instead
there is an error. The same information displays correctly on ie6.

Hi. I am having an issue with CRM 3.0 and IE7. I find when I open cases in a
new tab, the comments on the case sometimes do not appear. I have to refresh
the page in order to see them. I didn't have this issue with the previous
version of IE.

Also, when using CRM in the firefox browser, (with an IE plugin), we find
that the comments posted by the current user do not register. When you reopen
the case it shows the name header of the comment, but the comment itself is
blank. Any ideas?

We are having a problem with IE7 and CRM 3 (Outlook client). When users
connect to CRM from within outlook they have to authenticate again but with
IE6 they do not. We have setup IE7 to auto-signon for the trusted CRM server
but it still fails. We have tried to get a response from MS on this issue but
so far; nothing which solves the problem...
