- IE7 CRM V3 100% CPU
- Posted by Robert on October 24th, 2006
I pulled down the latest IE7 and when running it with CRM iexplore.exe chews
up 100% of the CPU and eventually will start eating up all the memory on my
machine. This only happens when using CRM.
Ive seen others say they are having no problems, curious to know if anyone
has encountered this. Running on Windows XP SP2 all updates are are loaded.

Same case scenario... I have installed IE7 on one PC. I tried it and every
thing was working fine. Nut I wanted to have the feature of opening an item
into a new tab instead of a new window. So I changed the parameter: always
open new pop up in a new tab, and now if I open an item into the CRM it is
taking 100% of the CPU and I have to killed the IE.
Any ideas will be much appreciated!!!

Had similar problem with IE chewing up CPU but only when opening a contact
record. I had our CRM URL under Trusted Sites. It seems that I fixed the
issue by removing it from Trusted Sites and putting it in Local Intranet.
