- Inactive records still showing up in associated view
- Posted by Greg Loseke on April 14th, 2006
I have an odd situation going on in our CRM 3.0 environment. We've created
two custom entities and created referential relationships with Contacts on
both of them (wiht Contacts being the primary entity).
When we open an contact and go into either of those associated entities and
create a record, everything works great. However, if we deactivate on of
those associated records, it sets the status to inactive but still displays
it on the associated view on the Contact. Any ideas how to fix this?

Look at the Filter criteria of the Associated View. Ensure that it is set to
Status = Active.

Hope that this helps.

The Associated View is a system defined view, so I don't have the option of
checking the filter criteria...at least not in the customization area.
