Having a problem during the Sales client for Outlook
installation. When it prompts you to type in the URL of
the CRM server, I get an error msg, "Server component not
detected". Any assistants would be greatly appreciated.

I had that problem.... first - make sure you have any previous versions of
CRM uninstalled on that PC - and remove the SQL folders if there are any
left...

Reboot

Try again - and rather than typing the server name and hitting enter - click
on the Next key (or what ever it is at that point)

These steps worked for me on a few machines....
