Hi,
Just a quick question, one of our clients has their servers located in a
different office than the office in which we visit. If we posted the disks
to the office with the servers is it possible to perform an install remotly
using somthing like rdp?

If disks are put physically in the server, you may be able to control and
launch the install remotly.
I've done the install of the DMF on a CRM server remotly, so it will works
with the server install itself.

It is possible, but IG guide specifically recommends you don't. Why, I do
not know. Remote has worked OK for me in the past

Yeah I thought that would have been the case. Tomorrow is un-installation

I have done remote installs many a time w/o a problem. The only issues I've
encountered is when the files weren't local to the machine. I typically copy
the files to a directory on the local hard drive and run the install from there.
