- Installing Sales For Outlook light client in hotdesk environment.

Hi,
The client I work for has a hot desk style of working and would like to
distribute Sales For Outlook (light version) to CRM users as they log
onto different PCs within the organisation in (a classical hot desk
scenario).
The problem I've encountered is, that once a user has installed SFO on
any PC within an organisation. Whenever they log onto a different PC
within the organisation the MSCRM.PST file from the original
installation is automatically copied into the
C:\Documents and Settings\[userName]\Application Data folder.
I believe this is a side effect of the technology used by the client to
sync user data as they move between PCs.
Even though SFO has never been installed onto the PC, once the user
goes into Outlook the CRM folders are displayed as a result of the PST
file existing, however as the Outlook addin isn't present numerous
errors present themselves. I then cannot either uninstall SFO or
Reinstall it. Do I need to delete the MSCRM.PST folder before
attempting a reinstall?
Has anyone encountered this issue before? What is best practice for
distributing SFO light in a hot desk environment?
In this scenario is there a way of just distributing the Outlook add
in?
kind regards,
les

Could I be bold and suggest in this scenario it would be worth while
investing in Terminal Services. This way it would not matter where they
log in (even remotely) and they would have exactly the same desktop via
remote desktop... that would negate the need for roaming profiles or
all this fun with the outlook client/crm addin.
There are docs out there on installation of the CRM client on Terminal
services (a slightly modified version can also be used for Citrix)

Thanks for the suggestion Derek, but it's too much of an organisation
change to impliment Citrix for this CRM deployment (The client is a
VAST organisation and won't allow such a change for one small CRM
implimentation).
Is there any fool proof way to uninstall SFO Desktop if the PST file is
already present due to Roaming Profiles?
