Posted by Manel Moreno on January 29th, 2004

Dear Friends,

After install CRM 1.2, when we try to access Users Administrators in the
Deployment Manager, we receive a message, that we can't connect to METABASE
Database, errocode 80004005

Has somebody find the same problem?

Thank you.

Moreno,

I also have the same problem as you. When I tried to use the Users
Manager, it hit the "cannot open database" error. If I go to the web
UI, on the homepage, I have this error "record not available". I can
add appointment though. But if I go to Business Unit Settings > Users,
I hit an error (with no specific message, just saying contact your
system administrator). All these I am running using the Domain
Administrator (the default admin user).

Do you have these problems (Web UI)?

No, I don't have it.
Just, the problem through Deployment Managers, well and other problems, but not related to this!
Maybe John could help us!

Hi Manel,
did you assign the administrator user a valid license code within the CRM?
Settings->Business Unit Settings->Users->Select the administrator
user->License->Add a valid license key.

Regards
Dieter
