How can you hot key the keyboard to opoen and close the
computer?

Ur in the wrong new groups, there is no short curt to open and close the
computer :P

but if u want to create a hotkey/shortcut a application: right click and
propties of the application icon and you will see a short cut column, click
in the column and select the keys u want to launch the app.
