I suspect this is not possible but hope you can prove me wrong. I want the
Articles section in My Work to open defaulting to Subject Browse rather than
Full Text Search..
Any tips on how this may be possible?

Did you ever receive an answer on this? I would also be interested in
having Subject Browse be the default option.
