When converting a Lead to an Opportunity why won't the
associated notes in the lead copy over to the opportunity,
contact, account'?
Is there anyway to force that?

Hi Joseph, it's because the notes are associated with the Lead, not the
Opportunity.

You could write a post-callout to copy the notes to the opportunity when
it's created.
