Hi there!

I want when i promote a lead to an oppurtunity to have the same fields
mapped (eg Lead.Name - Oppurtunity.Name etc) the oppurtunity to get the same
information stored in the lead.

The same thing i want to make it for the contacts. How is that possible?

Also one more question. If i am using crm without exchange server, is it
easy to send e-mail (for instance after the creation of a contact) using an
external mail server?

Hi Chris,
You need to look into Mapping in CRM for this purpose.
click Settings -> Customization ->
double click on Lead to customize it
new window will pupup
on left navigation bar, click Relationships
Than select type "Mappable"
double click on the mapping you want to modify or create new mapping as per
your requirment.
