- Lead to Product relation

In CRM database I've noticed a table named LeadProduct and in
microsoft crm db diagrams I have found lead to product many-to-many
relationship. In my case LeadProduct table is empty. I haven't seen
any fields in CRM that allow users to set a link from lead to product
or something else. What is the purpose of that table in CRM 3? My
users have requested adding products to lead feature and I am
interesting, if I am able to do this?
