- Learning CRM
- Posted by Gavin on January 14th, 2004
I wish to learn CRM in order that I might better support networks who use
it.
I will be relying on CRM business partners to implement and support for my
clients, but feel I would be doing them and my customers a justice by
knowing the product in it;s simplest form.
Having taken the long way around to ask the question - What's the most
accessible way (internet I hope) to learn the installation and product
basics of CRM?

You could try the eCourses on Microsoft CRM, available
from Microsoft Business Solutions.

The best way to learn CRM is to use it. I would recommend you install your
own test system and just work with it. You can read all you want but real
hands on experience is the way to go

I second that. You will simply lose money and time by going through classes
or reading tutorials. There is no way to learn all the tricks and
limitations of MSCRM without spending time behind the wheel.
I'd suggest grabbing some mid range computer (the more cpu/memory the
better), and install the entire CRM system on there. Install the Demo
database. And begin experimenting.
