- Linux and MSCRM?
- Posted by Gina Magdaleno on August 12th, 2003
I'm trying to get some developers off of their current
freeware version running on Linux to MSCRM. However,
they refuse to stop using Linux and I was wondering if
any of you have found some sort of workaround.
Sales doesn't not have a problem using the MS platform
and I'm trying to offer them an integrated solution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

This would be an interesting debate as we would like to migrate to linux is
the long term future, but CRM is the only issue that stops me from pursuing
that. CRM requires a 100% MS environment. I think the first step would be to
get a linux client connected to CRM (IE 5.5 is required).

We are investigating using Terminal Server and having the
engineers use the Terminal client as a workaround.
