I am trying to use the mailmerge facility with information i have in a
case. It doesn't seem that Microsoft have put this option into version
4. They have included mailmerge for account/contact etc but not for
cases. What options have I? Do I have to buy a 3rd party product or
develop it myself? Any help would be appreciated.

There are 3rd party products available, e.g. http://www.mscrm-addons.com/.
However, if your requirements are reasonably simple, you may want to take a
