Hi all,
Following scenario:
we have a custom entity having 1:n relations from following entities:
- account
- contact
- lead
- mailmergetemplate
Everything OK, we are able to place a lookup field for every relation
mentioned on the form of our custom entity BUT: the only one being possible
to create records in our custom entity is the one having the CRM
administrator role. For every other user we get an eror message by saving the
record stating that there are no access rights accessing the entity
mailmergetemplate. In other words: everybody is able to select a
mailmergetemplate using the lookup field on the form, but only the admins are
able to save the record. The "non-admins" have every possible right on our
custom entity and on the mailmergetemplate entity in the appropriate role
defined - full right to create, read, write, delete, assing and share. The
templates are all deployed for the organization.
The second interesting point: if a "non-admin" user is an OWNER of the
template (deployed for the whole organization!) and the same user tries to
create the record mentioned above - it suceeds!
Every possible help very appreciated,
Thanks,
Robert
