I've got some custom attributes in the Opportunity product and quote product
to hold some extra information regarding the customer's quote.Write-In
Products isn't
an option.

The problem is, when I convert the Opportunity to a quote, the information in
the custom attributes of the Opportunity Product do not get passed over to
the
Quote Product.

I searched this question here and I found out that there was a KB article
from Microsoft about this problemen ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914921
) But this only applies to CRM 3.0 and I am using CRM 4.0

Can anyone help me with this?

I am experiencing the same thing. I was able to access these mappings
in CRM 3.0 but I have since upgraded to CRM 4.0 and there is no
"RetrieveEntityMaps" button anywhere when you hit up the URL that the
KB article mentions. How do we access these mappings??!!! You would
think that they would have at least tried to fix this obvious problem
with the release CRM 4.0...

Someone please help us
