- Message GUID

Is there a way to change the location of the GUID which is
in the subject line. In regards to the Customer Service
Module, I'm assuming that it's needed to automatically
route and tie messages to cases in the CRM but it's rather
obtrusive in the subject line. Is it necessary and/or can
it be moved?

You can't move it, but you can remove it. There is a registry setting that you
can set that will stop CRM from putting this on the emails. However, if you
choose to do this, CRM will not be able to automatically attach responses to the
correct object.
I don't remember the exact setting, but it has been posted in this group several
times in the recent past.

Thanks for your reply. I've seen that reg hack and might
try it. Would you or anyone else know if it is possible
to relocate the GUID to, say, the end of the message body?

Hence the first part of my response: You can't move it.

a quick note, you need the patch if its for CRM 1.0,....the reghack works
fine for 1.2 (ie no patch needed)
