Can someone verify if Microsoft CRM can work only with
Active Directory in native mode. i.e If we have Active
Directory configured as mixed mode we will need to set up
new domain for SQL Server in order to run Microsoft CRM.
Are there any other alternative available?

CRM needs to have a native mode active directory however you could set up a
new domain jusst for crm then establish a trust back to the old domain
