Microsoft CRM in a Mixed Mode Domain
Posted by Mark Uy on October 6th, 2004

I would just like to know if Microsoft CRM would be operational in a Mixed
Mode Domain. One of our MSCRM clients have actually installed it and is
operational. But they were unable to go offline. Has anyone tested this
environment? Also, if our client decides to create a child domain running in
native mode, can users still reside in the Mixed Mode Parent Domain and be
able to access the MSCRM system via their user account in the mixed mode
domain?

I am aware of the Software Requirements and Environment Requirements for
MSCRM. I know that this environment is unsupported. I just wanted to know
if anyone has come across this issue and has found a proven method of
resolving it. Thanks.

I just found out that the domain is running in native mode. It is impossible
for the installation to continue without a domain in native mode. I
apologize for the confusion.
