Microsoft PressPass announced the release of four new snap-in programs
available at the new Microsoft Dynamics Snap Sandbox. Using the snap-ins
Microsoft Office 2003 users can interact with data and business processes
from certain Microsoft Dynamics applications as they create documents,
collaborate and manage their calendar – all without having to leave Microsoft
Office. The first group of programs, available today, include: Timesheet
Management Snap-In, Vacation Management Snap-In, and two flavors of a
Business Data Lookup Snap-In, one for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 and the
other for Microsoft Dynamics AX 3.0. With the Business Data Lookup Snap-in a
Microsoft CRM user can search for Microsoft CRM data while working in a Word
document, Outlook message or Excel spreadsheet and then insert selected data.
A user can also attach the Word document or Excel spreadsheet to a selected
Microsoft CRM record.
