- Migration from Salesforce to MS CRM
- Posted by SteveS on August 4th, 2006
My company has been using Salesforce for about 2 years now. We have a lot of
data jammed into salesforce too. We're considering moving away from
salesforce to the MS CRM.
What do you think would be the simplest, least-painful way of migrating from
salesforce to MS CRM?
Thanks in advance

You should use Data Migration Framework to load data to your CRM system...
You can download this tool and the documentations from MS.

You can do a ocnversion with the Data Migration framework (DMF) which is
free, but can be cumbersome to use. Or you can purchase a 90-day license of
Scribe Migrate which would be easier to use.

We just went through the process. Over 2 years with salesforce and a
lot of customizations. Depending on your technical level, you can
either use the Microsoft tools, Scribe or a consultant. I had an on-
staff programmer do everything through Scribe and all the data came
over very well. It's still a big process to learn the new system and
set up processes and reports. Our sales staff has taken to it very
well.
Running at about 85% efficiency. I find the program pretty easy to
use, but maybe a bit "clicky". Wish that screens would put a little
faster.
