- Posted by Rick on December 7th, 2004
I have on my CRM accounts form and crm deployment manager > acc attributes
the following fields
Address1_line1
Address_name
Address1_postal code
Address1_city
However when I attempted to migrate data from my cdf table to the Accounts
base table ! it said process complete ! Didnt migrate anything ! and I
noticed now that the above fields arent der in Accounts base table ! How can
this be, they arent even custom fields made by me, just added from the Add
fields ! Im stuck here ! Pls help

Rick,
You need to initialize the cdf database firstly, by running the CDF
Initialization tool.
(Microsoft.CRM.DataMigration.InitializeCDF.exe is installed in the CDF
folder on the CRM Server, run from a DOS prompt)
You should see your new fields in the cdf_Account_ext table, not the
cdf_Account Table.
Hope this helps,
Richie

Hi Rick,
I have run into same problem. All the fields like Address1_Line1,
Address1_Line2 were there in AccountBase table before and now they are not
there after I run the migration. Whats going on? Did you find out a way to
get them back?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Prasad
