- Missing reports in MS CRM
- Posted by MattijsW on April 18th, 2005
Hi,
When I look in the Implementation Guide on page 360 there are all the
reports that should be in MS CRM 1.2. Now I was looking for a specific report
which is in the IG but when I open the summary with all the reports, I'm
missing some of them.
The missing reports for example are by activity the "activitylist per
account", by contacts I am missing "activity per contact" and some more
reports (in total 11 reports).
Has somebody noticed the same problem or is this something that just appears
by us? Has someone a solution that brings the missing report back?

I can tthink of a reason why only 11 would be missing. If i assume you have
not added any of your own reports you may want to check support as you can
rebuild your report database. Is it possible someone else has removed them?

Hi John,
I though it was strange myself. I haven't add any customized reports (you
need a Crystal Reports 9 license (which you have to purchase by Business
Objects) and an update to 9.2.2 and I dont have a Crystal Reports 9 license -
Or is there one in MS CRM???) and there is no possibility that somebody has
removed them because the system isn't operational yet. I'm the only one with
access to the system. When I've re-installed the server they were still
missing
. I'm using the CD from MSDN color blue nr. 2664 with Dutch
language. May the problem be traced here ???
Very odd isn't it ... any suggestions ????

you only need crystal reports 9 if you want to build reports. CRM comes with
crystal 9 enterprise on the server. Note that this version can only access
crm data.
As only 11 reports are missing i am thinking there is something weird with
the dutch build of crm. I would log a call into ms support to validate this.
If its a fault with the build they should not charge you.

Oke, thanks John.
If you could let me know if the problem is in the Dutch build of CRM, I'll
be able to explain it to my employes. If the Dutch build is correct, I will
scratch the back of my head and have to think about another solution.
Thanks anyway!
