When importing the mapping xml files an error occurred: "An error occurred
during mapping the computer accounts - the mapping failed"

Hi vagg,
Did you get solution to your problem??? I am also facing the
same problem... I have installed the hotfix specified in 889685. But still
getting an error..
any help will be greatly appreciated.

Did you solve it since you wrote?
We think that the hotfix you installed was not the right one, but anyway we
don't know what to do.
We are afraid that the problem is caused by the SDtransform (is it something
about the Security Descriptor? we suspect it but we don't know...)...
Any help will be appreciated.
Please notice that the Microsoft CRM Redeployment Wizard cannot be used on
custom databases that include the SecurityDescriptor field.
I don't know if it applies...

Hi Prasad,
we solved the problem, and it is because the redeployment wizard recognized
the name of an old server. In the xml file, there were two names of two old
servers, and it caused the error.
Try and check this point.

want to modify?

I found the problem already.
as you say is caused by In the xml file, there were two names of two old
servers
for me is in Deployment.xml the domain controllers there have problem.
I just manual key in the newname, newguid and newsid, then everyting work
already.
