MS Dynamics CRM 3.0 Reporting Services Report error
Posted by Ian S. on January 23rd, 2006

When a user trying to run some reports on their desktop (even in the Server),
they get this error:

The property ‘nullable’ of report parameter ‘CRM_Locale’ is set to false.
However, the corresponding parameter (default) value is null or contains an
empty string. (rsProcessingError) Get Online Help

• I’m having this error particularly on the Sales History out of the box
report.

• I've tried checking it using the Administrator account that installed the
CRM 3.0 but it is working fine.

• I've tried Logging in the CRM 3.0 as the user then let the browser prompt
when accessing and running the report itself, then I put in the Administrator
account and it runs okay.
o So obviously it's on the Authentication/Security issue.
o But, I already gave the user, ALL the roles and privileges available
(including administrator role) but it still did not resolve the problem.
o I also made sure that in the ReportingGroup in AD, the user is already a
member of and this Group is already set in the Reporting Services Report
manager.
o It seems to me that it doesn’t seem to receive the parameter being passed
when the User identity is used.

I have ran out of ideas and way to check and fix this. I noticed that this
has been an unresolved and left with no reply in the Forum/Newsgroup so I
decided to post this again.

Is this a known issue? What is the feedback from Microsoft? Hope you can
help me.

Environment:
• SBS 2003 with latest service pack.
• SQL 2000 with SP4.
• I followed everything from the IG including the Post Installation Tasks. I
did not do the steps being recommended in here
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;909588 because
everything is already in one box.

Any feedback would be deeply appreciated. Thanks...
