MSDN Webcasts
Posted by Jason Hunt \(MSFT\) on September 3rd, 2004

I'm seeing quite a few questions on post-callouts and I think these webcasts
I did earlier in the year may of value to a few of you:

Extending and Integrating with Microsoft Business Solutions CRM

Part I: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=22464
Part II: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=22474
Part III: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=24569

Once you've watched them, feel free to email me directly and I'll send you
the source code for all of the samples. If you do request the source, it
will be provided "as is" with no "official" support. I'll try to answer
questions, but the best be is to post you questions to the newsgroups and
I'll just answer them there.

Hope these help...

I thoroughly recommend these to any person starting out on developing for MS
CRM - they really helped me a lot.

Thanks Jason.

I wouldn't expect anything "official" on these topics, as the re-use of the
controls is not supported.

I agree, the webcasts are useful.

The topic I really want help with, however, is how to build appropriate
asp.net customisations within the application. (Which is not covered in the
SDK at all, apart from a stylesheet example!)

ie How to make use of existing controls, best practices for rendering XML
etc etc

Are there likely to be webcasts for more advanced cusomisation such as this?

Does anybody have any documentation for this?

Thanks.

Hi Jason,

I have emailed you regarding the source code last month, but didn't get a
reply. Is 'jasonhun@microsoft.com' correct?

Great webcasts, very helpful.

Thanks,
Pam

Yes it is. Just send me another email and I will forward you the code. I
was at Tech Ed in Australia and New Zealand about a month ago and you
message may have gotten lost in my overfull inbox. My apologies.
