Outlook 2007 and MS CRM Client 4.0 Crash

Hello,

After I have installed the 4.0 client my outlook crash very offen, before I
had the client installed there was no problems with outlook, but after it's
doing sometimes 10 time a day.....I have seen it on some other machines.

I have all updates to Office and windows.

Any one there have an idea for a solution.

btw. I had the same problem in 3.0, but the rollup was fixing it
there....but now it's 4.0.....

Is it a particular operation or area in the client that make it crash? What
does it say when it crash?

We can try to troubleshoot it here to some extent but I would also recommend
contacting support team, as they will be best for figuring out solution to
this problem.

As it is now, I don't even havee to do anything in outlook, this morning I
just opened my outlook and after 1 minut I had my first crash, then it's just
ask my to sent the error report to MS and restart outlook

So if you stop the contact synchronization from crm to outlook and
experience no more crashes I can tell you that it is related to the
birthday date in some of the contacts. If the birthday is older than
01.01.1970 crm 4.0 cannot synchronize the contacts to outlook. I know
that microsoft is on the way to bring out a hotfix for this problem.

You can contact microsoft support over the Partnersource Portal and
then go to support.

Hi Regi,

It didn't help, I have turn off the contact sync, and made a check of the
birthday af all my contact regarding the birdday, and there was none of them
there was older than the date you mention

prepared to be distributed) please contact support team, as they will need
