Outlook Client Freezing

I was just handed a case of a client who has issues with their outlook client
freezing when openning opportunities. They do not experience this problem at
all when using the web client. Any suggestions on where to begin? They are
using v 4.0.

You should start looking at the size of inbox folder of client. Ask
him/her to remove or move the old mails to other folders.

There is a hotfix that MS has put out for Outlook and CRM 4.0

KB948041 - it is unpublished but if you contact MS they will send it to you.
I just did it myself
