I have installed the CRM SFO. Everything looks ok in Outlook. When I open the
CRM folder I can see all the folders. I can also open the account list. But
as soon as I open the details about a account (or contactperson.....)
everything hangs. A window is showing that Outlook is trying to open
something on the localhost.

I have already removed the entire client en reinstalled it (no errors)

I have already reset the client, cleared the cache etc, etc....

I am having this problem now for a few months and nobody seems to know what
is happening. We had the same problem on an other machine and in the end we
re-installed the entire operating system !!!!

I am using Windows XP/Outlook 2002

Does somebody know a way to solve this.

There are some known performance issues in the Outlook Client when it comes
to loading any particular section or page for the first time. Does the
problem go away after the first load? What are the specs of the machine
that you are seeing this problem on? How much free memory do you have?

Traditionally, this probably stems from our Application Host DLL which hosts
ASP.NET - When ASP.NET hits a page for the first time, it has to load a lot
of DLLs and JIT a lot of code on-the-fly. This tends to be an IO intensive
task, so machines with heavily fragmented hard drives, low memory or slow
disk controls (think Laptops) will see a longer "pause" on first load then
faster machines.
