Well, this got quite a bit nastier. I tried uninstalling the this CRM
desktop client and Outlook, boot, reinstall Outlook and then the CRM client.
Then I tried the synch, deselect synch contacts, restart Outlook, reselect
synch contacts, synch, and, even though the local contact now showed 142
instead of 15 ......................

Now there are double the contacts in CRM (~1440 instead of ~720). Ended up
restoring CRM database from last nights backup, sheesh. Now I wonder if any
other desktop clients have already replicated and I will get into a cycle of
duplicate contacts running amok. Good thing there aren't 150,000. Lost
todays work on contacts and other things.
