My outlook is not syncing with CRM. If i add a contact to Outllok and sync
the contact dows not show up in CRM. I have to "track in CRM". Is this the
way it works?
Thanks, Brian

on outlook
CRM-Option ....and then see what are you synchronizing and what is
the minimum time for synchronization.
if you have doubt that nothing is coming from CRM to out loook then.
make a appointmen in CRM and then click on CRM------synchronize CRM
with outlook ( as i dont have CRM outlook so might be i am bit wrong
about name
.. You will see any error if there is error in synchronization.

There is no error. It syncs very fast and when I look at it contacts,
apoints, etc, all say zero.
When you enter an outlook contact isn't suppost to sync with CRM? If so,
what is the "Track in CRM"?
Thanks, Brian

according to my understanding , synchronization is always from CRM to
outlook and not from outlook to CRM.
function of track in CRM :
for example :
when email comes and then you click on Track in CRM , then a another
option become available "Set regarding" . if you click it then you can
do some stuff like attachment email to a account /contact or creating
contact.
outlook contacts :
there is way in outlook to to associate existing contact with any
account ot create them in CRM. As i dont have outlook and crm infornt
of me then i would not be able to give you step by step.
