Beside the security issue for PostURL, are there any PostURL
unreliability issues?

Yes, they can be unreliable and there is no good loggin to let you know when
they fail.

I also read somewhere that if they do not respond fast enough that the
workflow rule can stop

That's interesting. I hadnt heard that one before. It could explain
something that a client encountered where a rule that included a postURL
stopped firing. Might have been due to a slow response on the postURL.
