- Posted by Traxi Tech on February 24th, 2005
Hi! Can someone please help us. On the account view, we see the primary
contact as lastname, firstname. However, we want to add two fields to the
account view, one called first name and the other called lastname, which
presumabley comes from the contact schema. How can we add the firstname and
lastname fields from the contact schema on the account view?

you mean you want to populate the new fields from the primary contact?

Yes, we want to add 2 fields to the account view and have those fields be
populated with data of the primary contact from the contact schema.
Basically, on the account screen, underneath:
Primary Contact Kaplan, Bernie
we want to add
First Name Bernie
Last Name Kaplan
Thank you for your help!

I am not sure that this is an easy task but if you are trying to do this for
mail merge purposes you might want to use a contact view and add columns for
first name and last name. You have a company field and this might give you
the desired effect. You can also do this in a report using crystal reports.
