- Printed quotes

Hi There,
We're new to CRM but we're evaluating it and we quite like it.
However, I just don't understand how you go about making a printable quote.
We'd like to be able to create a quote, place products (from stock or as
'write-in' items) into it and then have CRM create a nicely formated document
(Word or HTML) that can be sent to the customer. When you ask CRM to print a
quote with the button on the toolbar it just gives a detailed summary that is
not customer-facing.
I guess that printing of quotes happens as a report but the standard reports
make no mention of printing a single quote (justs reports on quoting
activity.)
Am I missing something? I'd have thought that printing a nicely formated
quote from CRM would have been fundamental. I'd even settle for something
high-tech like getting CRM to spit-out an XML document with product elements
so at-least we could create a Word document from that programmatically.
Anyway, thanks for your time. I hope you've got some advice for me.
Cheers
Jason.

The best way I've found to do this is to use this third party word merge
add-on tool. It works great and is flexible for multiple records as well as
one individual one.
I don't work for the company so this is not a solicitation, just a tool
recommendation.
