- Problem email address casing
- Posted by Patrick on January 31st, 2006
Hi all,
Sometimes when an email is received and routed into CRM, CRM cannot resolve
the sender or receipient of the message even though the email address is the
same on one of the system users but just the casing is different. I don't
expect the email address to be case sensitive but it would appear to be so.
I haven't seen any posts about this so I am not sure if this is just a
problem on my server or if it is a general problem.
Does any one else have this problem? Or an idea why this is happening here.

Hi Patrick!
We had this problem too. Do you have the corresponding mail-address-entries
twice in the database? Once with the systemuser and once with the contact?

That is true for most of our user
But the problem just occurs if the user in the system has email address
Patrick@MyCompany and the the email is sent to patrick@mycompany
