Problem with web access
Posted by Fermin Arronte on September 23rd, 2003

I get "Error: An error has occurred. For more information, contact your
system administrator. " when I try to use most of the features of MS CRM Web
Interface.

What am I doing wrong?

I have: Win2k SP4, SQL2KSP2

Can MSCRM be missconfigured?

Thanks

Fermin,

Check the event log on the CRM Server for a more detail error message. As
to your question, yes it can be misconfigured in many ways.

What language is your server installed under?

Just double checking. Based on your email address and the headers in your
post, you don't appear to be in the States so I was ruling out that you had
a non-US Englich server install. CRM doesn't work on machines that have W2K
installed with anything but US English.

Have all the services started successfully? What version of the .Net
framework is installed onthe server?
