- Promoted CRM EMail
- Posted by Cindy Mikeworth on June 9th, 2004
I promoted an email to CRM using SFO. The email address did not exist, so I
manually linked it to the wrong account. Not seeing a way to 'relink' (I
know I could have used the 'Regarding' field), I deleted the email.
However, when I try to re-promote the email from SFO, I get the message that
it already exists in CRM.
Is there a way to relink a promoted email if attached to the wrong record?
-or-
Is there a way to reset the email in Outlook so that it can be promoted a
second time?
Thanks!

You might try messing with the properties of the email to remove the MSCRM attributes, and retry the promote.

Where might I go to 'mess with the properties of the email'? I can't seem
to find anything that is editable.
